Automagic is a book-object by Dutch artist Anouk Kruithof, containing images from her "automagic archive" taken over twelve years. The book, presented in nine separate books and a text book in an acrylic glass box, explores themes through analog photomontages, screenshots, and text. Each book uses different papers, creating a multi-layered sculpture. Automagic showcases the endless possibilities of photography, with the computer and human mind as processors of different perspectives on the world.
